SDLG Showcases Compact and Electric Equipment for Landscaping and Municipal Applications at GaLaBau 2026

From 15 to 18 September 2026, GaLaBau, a leading European trade fair for landscaping and urban municipal construction, was held as scheduled at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre in Germany. The exhibition focuses on urban ecological maintenance, landscape renovation and precision construction in compact work areas, and serves as a key platform in Europe for showcasing equipment for specialised applications and facilitating business cooperation.

SDLG participated in the exhibition with a range of construction equipment designed for light-duty landscaping and municipal applications (Booth 7-426). Targeting European landscaping contractors, municipal maintenance organisations and regional dealers, SDLG presented a portfolio of lightweight, highly adaptable and low-carbon construction equipment.

Compared with traditional earthmoving exhibitions, GaLaBau places greater emphasis on equipment adaptability to specific jobsites, operating precision and environmentally responsible construction, setting higher requirements for machinery used in precision municipal and landscaping applications.

To address typical European operating conditions, including confined urban jobsites, construction in close proximity to residential areas and precision landscaping renovation, SDLG showcased a range of key machines for light-duty applications. The lineup included mini and small diesel excavators, a new generation of electric excavators, compact wheel loaders and multifunctional skid-steer equipment, covering excavation, loading and multifunctional auxiliary operations required in landscaping and municipal projects.

With their compact dimensions, manoeuvrability and precise control, these machines are well suited to detailed applications such as courtyard renovation, park maintenance, trenching for landscaping works, pathway construction and precision site levelling, meeting the requirements of municipal and landscaping projects across Europe.

The equipment displayed at the exhibition combines diesel-powered and new-energy solutions in a complementary product portfolio, enabling SDLG to meet the diverse and compliance-related construction requirements of the European market.

The diesel-powered machines feature mature designs, convenient maintenance and stable operation, making them suitable for the frequent and fragmented work cycles typical of landscaping projects and meeting the day-to-day operating needs of local small and medium-sized contractors.

The electric machines, with their zero-emission, low-noise and low-energy-consumption characteristics, are well suited to construction applications subject to strict environmental requirements, including city centres, ecological parks and residential areas. These products are aligned with the European infrastructure sector’s ongoing transition towards greener and lower-carbon development.

During the exhibition, the SDLG team engaged with visiting construction contractors, municipal maintenance organisations and distribution partners, holding in-depth discussions on equipment selection, local maintenance services and spare-parts support, while gathering first-hand market requirements.

Through its participation in GaLaBau, SDLG further strengthened its brand presence in Europe’s compact construction equipment sector. Looking ahead, SDLG will continue to optimise product performance based on the requirements of specialised overseas applications, while further advancing its equipment in terms of sustainability, precision and adaptability, providing reliable equipment and supporting services for urban maintenance and landscaping projects across Europe.
